The entranced fee is 85 for adults and 30 for the kids ( 3-12). Under 3 go free.
But they have different breakups for their pricing. If you intend to do just the safari it's 55.
Once, we entered the lady gave us a back check, and that's when I got to know it's okay to carry light snacks and sandwiches along.
Basically there are four themed villages contained in the Dubai Safari.
Arabian village - They take you around in a tram with a guide who explains about each animal you see on your way.
The main focus here is on the Arabian life as the name suggests and basically it's the beautiful gazelles.Of different kinds. With different antlers.
Some of the gazelles can surive without water for really long. We also saw the famous black buck ( The one Salman Khan was falsely accused of poaching)
It was good to see the agile gazelle freely trotting around.
We also saw the endangered Arabian foxes, but they were sleeping, unfortunately.
The good weather made the ride in the open tram, a pleasant experience.
The next stop was the Asian place. I loved the architecture of this place.
We only got to see the moon bears here as the other animals are still waiting to make their way through. This place has huge elephant structures which have been done up so intricately and lots of tiny fountains.

Then comes the safari village which is the best part of Dubai Safari but the queue to hitch a four wheel drive here is crazy long. Once you are in you get to see the lions, tigers, zebras, hyenas, ostriches and crocodiles upclose. It's an absolute delight to see so much greenery in Dubai and waterfalls and flower curtains.
The best place I liked was the hippo aquarium. I was amazed to see the hippos swimming under water and as I was gazing through the glass cage, one came so close- I was almost having a face to face conversation with him.
This place also has the touch and feel area. You get to touch the hide of a hippo, snake and a crocodile - so you get a good feel of how it would be like to pet them. And yes, it does feel absolutely creepy.

We also went to the reptile studio which houses a variety of eerie snakes and lizards, and for the entire while I was there, any moment very close to my feet was causing to become very jumpy. The cobras and the pythons and all the creepiness you can possibly name.
The African village was the most beautiful of the lot with lots of water streams and lush green and you get to freely walk around here and enjoy things at your own pace , without the guide waiting on you or rushing you up.
The animals here are all very small and
Cute. I finally got to see the meerkats of lion king live and they are really adorable. And so are the lemurs.
Viewer discreteion required at the tortoise corner. They do not shy away from pda. And we saw a mating session in full swing.
Dubai safari has done mindblowing job, trying to replicate the natural habitat of the animals, and just the majesty of the ambience does justice to the ticket costs.
Honestly more than the animals, I was awestruck by the greenery of the place. The whole safari so beautifully done, it's mind blowing.
And lastly there was a petting corner where our little kids enjoyed feeding and petting rabbits and goats.
Mom's! You can carry your stroller along.
Make sure you carry a pair of light cotton clothes for the kids, cause even though we are facing winter's , it can get really hot in the mid afternoon.
There are many cooling stations throughout the park, where you can take your moment off, if you are tired cruising through the huge park.
Also, don't miss out on Baskin Robbins.
Don't lean on the fence. Incase you fall in and the animals eat you they may fall sick. That's what the notice said. So stay off the railings and be safe.
A beautifully worthwhile trip.
