Wi-Fi has become a dominant part of lives and fathoming a day without it seems like a nightmare. When you find yourselves without Wi-Fi for a day, its time to take a deep breath, relax and get lots of sleep. And also an opportunity to get productive.
Here are 5 somewhat productive things you could do on a Wi-Fi free day:
1. Get organized: Most of us have a drawer at home, which is a medley of all sorts of things. Now the drawer can be sorted and a home can be found for the things that have been lying within.
Papers and bills that have been lying around , waiting to be gone through - either should be filed or discarded.
Medicine drawers are usually the most under looked part of the wardrobe.Go through the dates and sort out the those that have expired and those that cannot be used again. Expired medicines need to be disposed safely. Hand over the expired medicines to local clinics who will safely dispose it off for you. Do not throw them directly into the chute, glass bottles can break and tablets can be consumed inappropriately.
2. Whip up a fabulous dish: No wi-fi means more time. So, if you have had magazine pages of fancy recipes carefully clipped off and tucked safely away, or unopened recipe books or bulk of screenshots waiting to be tried , here is your moment.
3.Skin care: The most neglected part for many of us. We have come across various beauty blogs which have their own concoction of various organic beauty recipes for different skin types. Time to get some pampering done. Maybe your skin will thank you profusely, like the blogs claim *
4. Books, books everywhere but not a page read: Get started before the wi-fi is back. Chances are you might not stop till you reach the last page , even when the wi-fi is back. Just get started!
5. An unfinished project: An incomplete drawing or a story , a half stitched suit or a DIY project left mid way, put on your creative caps and get done with this.
If you are the type , that relies heavily on data plans when the wi-fi is gone , then I have some good news for you. 8th of November, is 'World Day without Wi-fi'. Celebrate it, with all its pomp and glory. Eat. Sleep. Be merry. And wi-fi free.
